Server/Waiter/GSA

As a Restaurant Server/Waiter, you play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. As a Restaurant Server/ Waiter with Lyfe Hotels you have the opportunity to create a positive impression on our guests through your excellent service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Provide menus, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guest preferences and menu offerings.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

2. Order Delivery:

  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following established service standards.
  • Monitor and ensure guest satisfaction during the meal, addressing any concerns or requests.
  • Clear tables and reset them for the next guests in a timely manner.

3. Menu Knowledge:

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and promotions.
  • Be prepared to explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Offer suggestions for wine and beverage pairings if applicable.

4. Upselling and Salesmanship:

  • Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or beverages, to enhance the dining experience.
  • Promote special menu items or promotions effectively.

5. Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Set up and maintain your designated section, ensuring cleanliness and proper table settings.
  • Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

6. Billing and Payment:

  • Present and explain bills to guests, process payments accurately, and return change promptly.
  • Handle guest billing inquiries and issues professionally.

7. Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Assist fellow servers and team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a server or waiter preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with menu items and an eagerness to learn.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
